Waterloo Engineering PhD student Redwan Siddiqui has been appointed to the Board of Directors of eCampusOntario, a provincial not-for-profit organization that supports digital innovation in post-secondary education. Siddiqui began his three-year term in April 2026 and will contribute to initiatives that advance inclusive, technology-enabled learning across Ontario.
A doctoral student in the Department of Management Science and Engineering, Siddiqui is pursuing research under the supervision of Dr. Selcuk Onay, exploring behavioural decision-making theories in the context of human-AI interactions. In addition to his research, he is actively involved in teaching, student leadership and academic service, bringing experience from across Ontario's college, polytechnic and university sectors.
