The Waterloo mechanical engineering professor, whose teaching and research focus on filtration and separation technologies for green energy and a clean environment, is the director of the University’s Green Energy and Pollution Control Research Lab.
Tan’s CSME citation notes his contribution to scholarship has been recognized by international peers.
