Dr. Ehsan Toyserkani has recently received the Award of Excellence in Education by the ASTM Additive Manufacturing Centre of Excellence (AM CoE) at their ICAM 2025 conference.
This recognition reflects the quality of Toyserkani’s teaching, research, and role as one of the directors of Canada’s largest additive manufacturing laboratory, the Multi-Scale Additive Manufacturing (MSAM) Lab, which is dedicated to training the next generation of researchers and innovators in the field. He also holds a Canada Research Chair in Intelligent Additive Manufacturing and holds numerous patents in the additive manufacturing (AM) industry to push the future forward.
The ASTM International Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence (AM CoE) is a collaborative partnership with ASTM members that conducts research and development to advance standards in all areas of additive manufacturing and promote technological innovation. The group includes approximately 30,000 members worldwide, with representatives from industry, government, and academia who provide expert guidance.
