MME students win six trophies in building competition

Mechanical engineering students namely, Benjamin Beazley, Collin Bolt, Galen Fernandes, Alexsa Laddaran, Jillian Lee, Rebecca Wong, and Gongyi Zhang received six trophies including second place overall in the Solar Decathlon Build Challenge and first place in the Financial Feasibility & Affordability category. Congratulations to all of our dedicated and talented winners!

Students from the Warrior Home design team spent three years working with the Chippewas of Nawash Indigenous community and Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce to build a net-zero energy home in the Indigenous community. In addition to designing a home that will fit the needs of a family and be energy efficient. The students also went on-site during the construction phase to help out with the building process.
