On Friday, September 23, Karen Sunabacka and Darryl Friesen will host a social event featuring discussions about the album and individual pieces by Karen Sunabacka and performances by pianist Darryl Friesen. A reception will follow. CDs are available for purchase at the event.

The Cardinal Consort of Viols returns to Conrad Grebel with ‘To Our Great Joy’, a concert of music by 16th and 17th century composers who were living witnesses to plague and pestilence. 

The Fair will be returning to an in-person event this year at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. This year’s event is a shortened one taking place over two days, October 1 and 2 from 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. each day.

The Mathieu-Chua Duo comprises Canadian violinist Véronique Mathieu and pianist Stephanie Chua.

JUNO-winning Duo Concertante (Nancy Dahn, violin and Timothy Steeves, piano) is an ensemble that has toured the world and produced 12 award-winning CD’s.

Stealth will take you on a musical journey exploring sonic landscapes and rhythmic chaos. Having performed together for over a decade, Stealth takes a deep dive into the world of improvisation through percussion and bass clarinet.

Jamaican-Canadian artist, Joni NehRita’s songs explore themes of equity, universal love & cultivating imagination & compassion on a rich backdrop that blends soul, jazz & Afro-Latin/Caribbean grooves. 

Performers Laurel Swinden (flute) and Stephanie Mara (piano) will perform a selection of favourite flute music requested by Laurel and Stephanie’s friends, colleagues, and social media followers.
