Our Waterloo Optometry Clinic has moved to the nearby location of 419 Phillip St., Unit C, as of October 21, 2024. This location will be open until late 2026 while the Waterloo Eye Institute is under construction. Our downtown Kitchener location (Health Sciences Optometry Clinic) remains open with no change to service.

The School of Optometry & Vision Science will have eight hours of continuing education for ODs, along with fun activities for you to enjoy. We will conclude our weekend with a Waterloo Eye Institute gala featuring everyone's favourite optometry band, The Lost Faculties.
A study conducted by the Canadian Council for the Blind found that loss of vision is the disability that Canadians fear the most and more than 25% of Canadians have a friend or family member with significant vision loss.
But vision loss doesn’t have to lead to loss of independence.
