Doors to IQC side of bldg temporarily locked

As of Oct 31st 2022, the main IQC entrance door is now locked (requiring a keyfob) during business hours.  It has temporarily reverted to requiring keyfob access during the daytime due to an increase in disruptive noise on the IQC side of the building.  Unfortunately this change will negatively impact some labmembers’ access to our computer lab in the QNC B211 room.  I would like to apologize for this inconvenience on behalf of the QNFCF team.

[QNFCF Members]Holiday reminder: Thanksgiving and staff holiday - Oct 10-11 2022

Hello labmembers,

This is just a friendly reminder that next Monday October 10th is Thanksgiving, a statutory holiday.  This year the university has also provided for an additional staff holiday to take place on October 11th.  Consequently, there will be no staff support in the QNFCF labs for these two days.

In terms of our facility access policies, these days are treated as normal weekend days.

Best regards,
