SAF Grads Continue to Achieve!

SAF Grads Continue to Achieve!

We are happy to advise that the CBV Institute’s 2019 Membership Qualification Exam (MQE) went off without a hitch this past September and its results were recently announced.   It gives us great pleasure to share the list of SAF grads below who represent over 9% of this year’s successful candidates.

Day 6 Munich. On the schedule was Deloitte, Target Partners, and a German venture capital firm. Finding Deloitte turned out to be one of the biggest challenges we’ve faced so far due to our lack of experience in navigating the underground station.

Day 5 at 6:30AM and the team was bright and ready for our three breakfast presentations for the AFM 415 International Study Trip: Deutsche Bank, Moody's and PwC.

Should I take a gap year?

take a gap year?
Should I take a gap year or should I go straight into University? I’ve asked myself this many times and have even sought opinions from family and friends, however, I’m still undecided. Taking a gap year would give me more time to work full-time and earn enough money to support myself through my first year of University studies.

day 3 germany
Monday in Frankfurt Germany was the first day of our company meetings for the AFM 415 International Study Trip. Our first meeting for the day was with the European Central Bank (ECB) at 10:30 AM. The first segment of our meeting included a tour of the Visitor Center, where we learned more about the history and purpose of the ECB, sectioned into four areas:

The second day of the AFM 415 International Study Trip was in Frankfurt, Germany. The day started with a complimentary breakfast, to which the highlight were delicious Nuremberg sausages!

The anticipation of visiting Germany as part of the AFM 344, formerly known as AFM 415, International Study Trip was finally over when we arrived in Frankfurt and stumbled upon two cultural festivals. The festivals included Thai and Japanese dancers performing traditional dances in the city squares, which only further proved how diverse Germany really is.

I liken my university experiences to a sports analogy. You never know when your coach will call on you to play, but when you’re sitting on the bench, you have to be prepared. For me that meant maintaining strong marks with extra-curricular involvement and never…ever take anything for granted.
