The Secretariat & Office of General Counsel (SOGC) is responsible for supporting the University of Waterloo in its mission by providing guidance and professional legal support to University of Waterloo governing bodies, their committees and councils, and to senior University officers on all governance, policy and operational issues which might affect the institution.
