In spring 2023, the UWSA Board of Directors adopted a new strategic plan and mission statement. We’ll be rolling it out in the coming months.


By partnering with administration and others across the university community, UWSA cultivates a progressive work environment where staff feel safe, empowered to grow, and able to thrive.


Our vision is that the Association will be champions of equity, advocacy, and social justice for staff.

Social Justice: We promote equity, justice, and anti-oppression in all aspects of our work and interactions.
