About Kelan: Kelan has a Bachelor's of Science from Ontario Tech University in Oshawa, Ontario, worked as an animal technician at the University of Alberta from 2013 to 2022, and is currently the Intermediate Animal Health Technician at UW's Central Animal Facility.

Reason for running: I ran for office because I want to be involved with the decision making of the staff association as well as represent and advocate for my coworkers and other members.

Vision for the UWSA: My vision for the UWSA is an organization that fights for every single member in order to ensure that they are properly compensated, treated fairly, and can work in a safe environment.
