Campus Compost Acquires Second Cow

It was a cold and rainy day that saw the arrival of Campus Compost's second "compost cow", a 55 cubic foot tumbler that gobbles up food waste from the University of Waterloo.  The weather, however, did not dampen any spirits for the volunteers who operate the system.

The University of Waterloo has joined the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).  This enters the University into a growing network of over 700 postsecondary institutions in North America, Europe, and across the world who are each making efforts to build more sustainable campuses.
