Religions have a fundamental impact on culture. Necessarily, then, they have a deep impact on who we are as individuals – even if we’re often unaware of their influence on us. Courses in Religious Studies will help you better understand our culture, other cultures – and yourself.
The Major and Minor in Religious Studies are offered collaboratively by the University of Waterloo and the four federated/affiliated institutions on the west side of Laurel Creek. United College contributes to this programming with courses on world religions, death and dying, ethics and theology.
