The Department of Applied Mathematics is part of the Faculty of Mathematics, which is a major centre for research in the mathematical sciences. The faculty also includes the Department of Pure Mathematics, the Department of Combinatorics and Optimization, the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science, as well as the School of Computer Science.
We maintain close ties with the faculties of Science and Engineering regarding both research and teaching, and we offer a joint undergraduate program in Mathematical Physics with the Department of Physics. Further information about the Department may be obtained from our web page.
