Abstract
In this talk, we will explore several models of optimal control applied to biological systems, including mosquito population control, vaccine allocation strategies, and crop pest management. We will highlight problems where Control Theory and related techniques have provided effective solutions, and discuss some theoretical and numerical challenges.
