Three Applied Math graduate students competed in the 2015 Three-Minute Thesis competition, in which students have one slide and three minutes to explain their thesis research to a general audience.
PhD student Sepideh Afshar and Master’s students Brian Fernandes and Tawsif Khan competed at the math faculty level. Tawsif Khan was selected to represent the math faculty at the university level. See the following links for videos of their presentations.
