Title
Modeling Therapeutic Ultrasound
Abstract
Medical ultrasound is most commonly known for its role in medical imaging, but recent advances have allowed for therapeutic ultrasound to be used for non-invasive surgical procedures. In this talk, some basic background in mathematical models of this form of ultrasound will be presented, alongside some research directions for their improvement.
