Existence of positive solutions for a class of nonlinear algebraic systems

Abstract

This talk will introduce some existence results on positive solutions for a class of nonlinear algebraic systems of the form x = GF (x), where is a positive parameter, G is a positive n n square matrix. Such system has interesting applications in various areas such as difference equations, boundary value problems, dynamical networks, existence of periodic solutions, stochastic processes, and numerical analysis.
