Saskia Hambali, a GBDA student, shares how seemingly unrelated past experiences led to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Rawan Miznazi (she/her) is a fourth-year Health Sciences student in the Faculty of Health. Rawan shares her experiences at BioPed and Trexo Robotics, where she worked hands-on with patients. Her time at Trexo Robotics sparked a passion for research into the social and cognitive impacts of assistive robotic devices on children, leading her to pursue an undergraduate thesis in the field.

Michelle Kao (she/her), a third-year Physics and Astronomy student, has been recognized as the Faculty of Science Co-op Student of the Year for her outstanding contributions at the National Research Council, Herzberg Astronomy and Astrophysics Research Centre. Michelle is also the 2024 winner of the Experiential & Work Integrated Learning Ontario (EWO) Co-op Student of the Year.
