New co-op employment statistics dashboard available for students

Friday, February 28, 2020

For some time now, we’ve heard from students that the way we present our co-op employment statistics could be improved. As one of our website's most highly-visited pages, we know that this information is important as you search for work as it helps to have an idea of how many students are job-hunting and when they actually find employment.

Say hello to a brand-new employment rate dashboard built for co-op students!

Over the past few terms, we’ve been working with co-op students and campus partners to find a way to present these co-op employment statistics in a more user-friendly, accessible way that illustrates a fuller picture of when you find work over the entire recruitment period. Our hope is that this new way of presenting the data will help empower your work search and reduce feelings of stress associated with the amount of time available to find work.

To access our new co-op employment statistics dashboard, follow the link below to use your WatIAM credentials to login. Once you’ve logged in, you’ll be able to filter the results by term, faculty, program, academic level and work term number, and can also view statistics for specific dates. Each term’s employment data will be updated from the start of the first interview cycle all the way through the various employment cycles until the last day to find a job for co-op credit.

For more information about how our employment rate is calculated, visit our employment statistics webpage. If you have questions about how to use this tool or need help with your work search, please connect with your co-op advisor.
