Their findings suggest that engaging in these activities can lead to short‑term improvements across a wide range of outcomes, from reduced anxiety, stress and depression to greater self‑efficacy, improved social functioning, enhanced mood, higher life satisfaction, better health‑related quality of life and a reduced sense of hopelessness.
