Community Well-being Fruit and Veg Market
The FoE Community Well-being team is partnering with Produce Place, a vendor at the St. Jacob Farmers' Market, to bring the Fruits and Vegetables to you!
Dates:
- Dec 03, 2025 (SLC & E7)
- Jan 14, 21, & 28, 2026
- Feb 04, 11, & 25, 2026
- Mar 4 & 25, 2026
Time: 12:00 pm (noon) - 4:00 pm (while supplies last)
Locations: The market will be held in two locations on the same day, at the same time.
- Faculty of Engineering: E7, 1st floor by the Robohub
- SLC: Student Life Centre Lower Atrium
- EV3: Environment 3 (on the last Wed of the month)
Who can Attend: All members of the University of Waterloo community are welcome (students and employees)
Cost: $10 for a bag of assorted produce. (We know you are busy. For your convenience and ease, bags of produce have been pre-sorted. Allowing you to grab, pay, and get back to class or work quickly.)
Payment Options: Cash, debit, or credit
What's in the Bag?:
Produce varies greatly throughout the year. Bags will include enough produce for several meals. Your bag of produce will include an assortment of seasonally available produce, and will include some of the following, plus other items as available).
- Apples
- Beans
- Broccoli
- Mangoes
- Onions
- Oranges/clementines
- Potatoes
- Container of berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries depending on availability)
- Other fruits and vegetables
(Grocery bags will be standard, however you can trade items with your friends)
Estimated Savings: Bags of produce would cost approximately 30-50% more at a grocery store for similar items depending on availability or time of year.

Located in the west-end of the main building all year, and outside Spring to Fall.

Not sure how to cook or prepare produce? No problem! We have an assortment of recipes and tips for you. A quick Google search will also provide numerous recipes for every type of food you can imagine!
