Employee Wellness Hub

Welcome to the Employee Wellness Hub!

Thank you for taking the time to invest in yourself. You deserve a healthy, fulfilling, and rewarding life. Health and well-being are not something we have. They are dynamic and changing. We contribute to our health and well-being through an intersection of our lifestyle choices, and other situational and environmental influences.

During stressful times it is important that we are meeting our own wellness needs, so we can better support those around us. Self-care is not selfish, nor nice to have, it is essential to the "active pursuit" of the activities and relationships that are most important to us.

While not everything that impacts our well-being is within our control, a large amount is. The best news is that many of the things that are within our control can mitigate and reduce the impacts of other potentially health diminishing factors.

In our busy, fast paced roles it can be challenging to carve-out time to protect or enhance our health and well-being. Dr. Ned, a medical doctor from Vancouver who specializes in stress, once said, “If you don’t take the time to be well, sooner or later you will take the time to be sick. Usually, being sick takes more time and is significantly more unpleasant.” While it can be challenging to make time to care for ourselves, almost every aspect of our lives improves when we do.

We are glad you are taking the time to review our resources and explore more ways to stay healthy at work and home.

Based the feedback from our Annual Employee Wellness Survies, we have created and gathered a vast array of resources in as many delivery methods, on as many topics, as we could. We are constantly adding and revising content based on employee feedback and new research, so please check back often.

If you can’t find something in our resource repository above, please contact the Community Wellness Team and we will provide you with more information or links to additional resources!
