Upcoming Wellness Events
We want you to be well and thrive in Engineering. Each term we provide a variety of events and workshops based on student feedback. These initatives are designed to support you, provide a needed break (even if it is short) and offer insights into skills you will need across your lifetime. (If you think Engineering is tough, wait until you try full-time "adulting!")
We are collaborating with EngSoc to bring you a collection of workshops on wellness topics requested by students!
In addition to workshops and events presented by ENGWellness, there are additional events and workshops hosted by Campus Wellness. Please join us for these fun sessions (there might even be snacks). For more details and registration where needed, click on the links below.

A Queer and Pleasant Ragger: A Gender Journeys Group: This in-person, drop-in group, facilitated by counsellor Washington Silk (they/them), provides thoughtful support for gender-diverse UW students, including trans, non-binary, two-spirit, and questioning individuals. |

GLOW GROW: Every other Wednesday, GLOW and Campus Wellness host mental health therapist and educator Washington Silk (they/them) for a flexible drop-in session to relax, ask questions, and submit topic requests. |

Mindfulness Self-Compassion: Mindfulness Self-Compassion (MSC) combines mindfulness and self-compassion skills to build emotional resilience, starting with acknowledging difficult thoughts and feelings with openness and curiosity. |

Queer and Trans Graduate Students Wellness (QTWELL): Queer and Trans Graduate Students Wellness (QTWELL) is an open drop-in group for 2SLGBTQ+ graduate students to connect, share support, and promote wellness. |

As straight as the ring road – a Walk and Talk, Outdoor, Therapeutic Group for Queer and Trans Students: "As Straight as the Ring Road" is a walk-and-talk outdoor therapeutic group for queer and trans students, fostering personal growth through connections with oneself, the earth, and others. |

Grad Space: Grad Space is a supportive group for graduate students seeking connection, offering a space for affirmation, peer support, and interpersonal learning. |

Mind Body Run: Mind Body Run is a group for students of all running levels to take a break, get outside, and practice mindfulness through running or walking. |

Neuro Minds: Neuro Minds is a supportive community for students with diverse cognitive profiles, such as ADHD, Autism, and Dyslexia, offering a judgment-free space to share thoughts, concerns, and achievements. |
