Jessica
was
VP
of
WEBS,
residence
don
for
five
terms,
volunteered,
did
an
overseas
coop
term
and
even
won
coop
student
of
the
year.
Today
she
does
triathlons,
holds
several
volunteer
roles
and
manages
an
evolving
role
working
on
sustainability
strategy
for
a
multinational
corporation.

Jessica Peixoto's mission is to enhance the sustainability practices of Celestica, a Canadian multinational electronics manufacturing company, and to be a valuable member of the community.
As a Sustainability Specialist at Celestica, her main focuses are on ESG strategy, setting company-wide targets (such as a science-based target), integrating the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into company practices, organizing projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions at global manufacturing facilities, managing sustainability reporting, and engaging with third-party organizations.
Jessica has experience working in not-for-profits, a university research institute, and other businesses of various sizes. Most of her work has revolved around implementing corporate sustainability initiatives, emissions management, sustainability reporting, project management, research, and building internal and external relationships. In her spare time you can usually find Jessica in nature, training for triathlons, reading or volunteering. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies (B.E.S) in Environment and Business from the University of Waterloo.
