To provide a bit of a boost for students heading into the end of term, the Faculty of Environment hosted the first ENV Cares event on Thursday, December 1st. From 12pm to 2pm the EV3 Atrium was filled with faculty, staff and students who came to share some sweet snacks and a sense of community. Students enjoyed cookies from Little Mushroom Catering and post-it notes with encouraging messages written by faculty and staff. See below for some fun moments captured during the event.
The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
