Congratulations to Dr. Daniel Scott who has been named on Clarivate's annual Highly Cited Researchers™ 2023 list recognizing influential scientists and social scientists worldwide who have made significant contributions to their fields.
Dr. Scott is a professor and research chair in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management. He is also an International Research Fellow at the School of Hospitality and Tourism at the University of Surrey (UK). He has worked extensively on sustainable tourism for 25 years, focusing on transitioning to a low-carbon tourism economy and adaptation to the complex impacts of a changing climate.
In total, 12 Waterloo researchers were recognized.
