The Selection Committee will consist of the Associate Dean (Undergraduate Studies) and/or a Faculty Representative, the Student Engagement Officer and up to ten members of the graduating class, who have not nominated a Valedictorian candidate. We are looking for representation from all of our undergraduate programs.
Members of the Selection Committee will be expected to attend two selection days.
Friday, March 6 will be the shortlist selection (in the case that 10 or more nominations are received). The selection committee will review nominees and select up to 10 candidates for final selection.
Wednesday, April 8, 2026 will be the final selection day. The selection committee will listen to all Valedictorian speeches and, together, discuss the speeches and choose their class Valedictorian and a runner-up.
