Exam centres

The deadline to choose an exam centre or submit a proctor was November 1, 3pm ET.

If you did not choose an exam centre or submit a proctor your exam will  be scheduled in Waterloo. The exam schedule is posted on The Centre's website.

If you live within 100 km of an examination centre you are required to write at that centre. University of Waterloo is considered an exam centre. If you are taking on-campus courses, your exam has been scheduled in Waterloo. If you live farther away you will need to arrange to write with a proctor

Exam centres CANNOT provide any accommodations. If you are registered with AccessAbility Services you will need to schedule your exam with them or write with a proctor.

Exams at exam centres in Fall 2024 will be held on Saturday December 7 at either 9 am or 2 pm. Complete details, including the room location and time will be available in Odyssey by mid-November.

More than 2 exams?

Exam centres (other than Waterloo) can only accommodate two exams sessions (9 am and 2 pm).

If you have more than two exams you will need to write the additional exams with a proctor or write them in Waterloo. Email us at extendedlearning@uwaterloo.ca to make arrangements. We will determine which exams will be written at the centres and which with a proctor.
