Prof. Randall has a dual career at the University of Waterloo where he’s an associate professor of English and director of the Games Institute. He's also co-chair of Gamification 2013, an international conference that will play out at the University’s Stratford, Ont. campus from Oct. 2-4. In this interview, Neil is asked about the conference, to get his take on Canada’s place in the global gamification arena, and figure out how an English prof lands a super-cool side gig designing board games.
