Co-op commission honours Lazaridis

Mike Lazaridis, Research In Motion's co-chief executive officer, has been inducted into the Co-op Hall of Fame.

Lazaridis, UW's chancellor, was recognized for his company's role in giving jobs to 1,500 co-op students each year, as well as his role in establishing UW's Institute for Quantum Computing and the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo.

The hall of fame is administered by the National Commission for Co-operative Education in the United States and located on the campus of the University of Cincinnati.
