October 2-5, 2017

The Quantum Innovators in science and engineering workshop brings together the most promising young researchers in quantum physics and engineering. Guests are invited for a four-day conference aimed at exploring the frontier of our field.

The workshop is held at the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) at the University of Waterloo.

  • Attendees are postdoctoral fellows.
  • Attendees are experimentalists or theorist of experiments in quantum physics and engineering.
  • All attendees will give a talk on their research.
  • There is no fee for attendance, accommodations or food. Travel expenses will be covered through the Transformative Quantum Technologies research initiative thanks in part to funding through the Canada First Research Excellence Fund (CFREF).
