On Friday March 20, 2015, students from the Nanotechnology Engineering Program at the University of Waterloo will present their fourth year design projects at the 6th Annual Design Project Symposium.
Twenty-four project teams will present their prototypes which include a controlled release fertilizer that can retain water, an ion thruster for microsatellites and our international design winners, Suncayr, a skin marker that can tell you when to reapply your sunscreen.
The event will be held in the William G. Davis Computer Research Centre on the University of Waterloo campus, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Visitors are encouraged to browse the interactive displays and meet with the presenters at any time during the symposium.
Attendance is free.
