WIN - Holst/TNO Battery Partnership Workshop
Joint Workshop
The Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology (WIN) and Holst Centre / TNO, Netherlands, invite WIN members and OBEC affiliates to participate in the WIN-Holst Centre Battery Partnership Workshop, an online workshop focused on bridging battery materials discovery to pilot-scale manufacturing and building a long-term Canada-Europe collaboration in battery innovation. This workshop supports the development of joint research projects in areas such as advanced electrodes, current collectors, dry-coating processes, interface engineering, and solid-state batteries, and will help identify complementary expertise and position joint teams for future funding opportunities in Canada and Europe.
Workshop purpose
- Identify aligned research interests and complementary expertise between WIN/OBEC and Holst Centre researchers
- Explore joint research projects in areas such as advanced electrodes, current collectors, dry-coating processes, interface engineering, and solid-state batteries
- Position joint teams to pursue funding opportunities in Canada and Europe
- Build momentum toward a long-term Canada-Europe battery partnership
