Congratulations to Nazmul Hossain on receiving multiple prestigious graduate scholarships recognizing excellence in sustainable energy research.
We are proud to share that Nazmul Hossain, a PhD student in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo, has been awarded several highly competitive scholarships in recognition of his research achievements in sustainable energy technologies.
These honours include the:
- Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS)
- Queen Elizabeth II Graduate Scholarship in Science and Technology (QEII-GSST)
- Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada Doctoral Scholarship (NSERC CGRS-D)
This outstanding accomplishment reflects Nazmul’s dedication to advancing impactful research, as well as the strength of mentorship supporting his work. He is supervised by WIN Members Dr. Y. Norman Zhou and Dr. Aiping Yu, whose leadership continues to drive innovation and interdisciplinary excellence at Waterloo.
Nazmul’s research in next-generation energy harvesting technologies contributes to the development of sustainable solutions for the future and exemplifies the high-impact work being carried out by WIN trainees.
