Xuemin (Sherman) Shen has been selected as the 2026 recipient of the IEEE Canada A.G.L. McNaughton Award, honouring his career‑spanning contributions to wireless and ultra‑broadband communication networks, including leadership in areas such as network security, vehicular communications, and AI-enabled systems.
