On Thursday, March 7th, the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering held a special event to honour the academic excellence of its students who were named to the prestigious Term Dean’s Honours List for spring and fall 2023.
Altogether, 126 undergraduate Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering students were on the list, with 51 students from Mechanical Engineering and 75 from Mechatronics Engineering, respectively. It was an excellent chance for peers to mingle with one another and celebrate their academic success, followed by a talk from Dr. Arash Arami and his work on neurochemical modeling, human-robot interaction, and human motor control. Many insightful questions from our students in the audience accompanied his presentation.
