Dr. Amir Khajepour elected as fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering

MME professor Amir Khajepour has been elected as a fellow to the Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE)--one of the highest honours the profession bestows in Canada.

The Canadian Academy of Engineering brings together a group of distinguished engineers to advise government and policymakers on issues ranging from technology and the environment to infrastructure and innovation, and to make recommendations on a variety of topics in the modern world, and to promote engineering leadership and excellence across the country.  

Amir is recognized for his pioneering work in mechatronic vehicle systems, including mentoring over 180 graduate students, holding 35 patents, publishing over 600 research papers, and leading activities at WatCAR and the Mechatronics Vehicle Systems Lab.
