MME PhD student moves to second round of NSERC national contest *Watch Video Here*

Jian Zhao, a Ph.D. candidate from Dr. Xianguo Li’s research group in the department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering, has successfully moved on to the second round of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) video contest called Science, Action! Students from around the country submitted a short video showcasing research in the natural sciences or engineering fields. In this round, the top 25 videos with the most views will proceed to a judges’ panel, where they will compete for one of 15 cash prizes! Online voting will be available from 11 a.m. (EST) on Feb 6, 2018 to  4 p.m.(EST) on March 2, 2018.

Jian Zhao's research focuses on the microstructure formation and characterization of the catalyst layers in polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells.
