Launch of new WCMS website

As a complement to the QNFCF's existing Plone-based website which serves as a document repository for existing lab members (and which will remain active), a new, general information QNFCF website that makes use of the University of Waterloo's Waterloo Content Management System (WCMS) has been launched:

Minor repairs to air handling in UV Litho bay

Dear All,

Minor repairs are required on the air handling unit which serves the UV Lithography bay in the QNC Cleanroom, module # 1701P.

The work is scheduled for this Friday, February 19 from 7:30AM to approximately 8:15AM.

Upcoming Fab Closure

Dear All,

 

Preemptive repairs will be made to the QNC cleanroom's high purity DI water system over the upcoming February 13 to 15 long weekend.

 

These repairs will mitigate the risk of another major failure as we unfortunately experienced this past November (details below).

QNFCF to remain open

QNFCF labs will remain open in support of research activities, until further notice.

University of Waterloo guidelines on lab research published on December 22, 2020 remain in effect.
