Double your impact this month by making a donation to the Debbie Kennedy Award.

Named in honour of the late Debbie Kennedy (pictured), a former resident and Don at Renison in the 1970s, this award is given to students who are involved in the Renison community. The award celebrates those exhibiting leadership qualities, honesty, and a good sense of humour – all qualities that capture the essence of the spirit of Debbie, and the collective spirit of Renison.

About Debbie Kennedy

Debbie was a resident and Don at Renison during the 1970s. She was known for her happy demeanor, full of Renison spirit, who always had time for others. Not long after leaving Renison, Debbie died in the summer of 1985 when she was just 30 years old. Her legacy lives on in the hearts and memories of her family and friends, and in the award named in her honour.

Up to $6,000 for Students

This month, two generous donors have stepped forward as fund champions to match each donation to this important award, up to a maximum of $3,000 (for a total of $6,000 if we meet our goal!).

That means, every time you donate to the Debbie Kennedy Award this April, you'll be turning $1 into $2 - and it all goes to students!

Our Fundraising Priorities

The Debbie Kennedy Award is the most recent fund in our ongoing campaign where we feature a different fundraising priority each month. If a particular fund/priority resonates with you, you may choose to donate during a particular month to make the biggest impact.
