In Memoriam: Erna Borch

With sadness, we share that Erna Borch, a much loved and long-time member of our Renison community, has passed away at the age of 95. 

Erna (pictured centre at her most recent birthday) was a beloved "House Mother" for the Women's Residence at Renison - a position she held for over 25 years. Her German cooking was the best, and she was known to invite residents to her home regularly for delicious brunches! She became an Honourary Member at Renison upon her retirement in 1993. 

Visitation and Service Details:

Visitation will take place at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, Ontario on Monday, May 22, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Funeral service will be held in the Erb and Good Chapel on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 beginning at 11:00 a.m., reception to follow the service.
