The Distinguished Alumni Award is granted to persons who, having graduated from academic programs administered by the College, or having lived in residence at the College for at least two terms within one academic year, have pursued and gained notable recognition in a subsequent career.
Criteria:
- The nominee must be a person who has graduated from an academic program at the Bachelor's level or above, administered by the College, or have been a resident in the College for at least two terms within one academic year.
- The nominee must have distinguished herself or himself in a subsequent career.
- The nominee should have demonstrated an ongoing affinity for or contributions to the College.
- Normally the Award will be granted following four or more years beyond graduation.
Usually, the nomination originates from a person associated with the College, including students, staff, faculty of all kinds, alumni/ae, and members of the board of governors. The nominating letter should state clearly how the nominee meets the criteria above. The nominating letter should include a detailed resume of the nominee.
