Lusi Wong was a graduate of the University of Waterloo who died of cancer in 2002. Her husband, Lincoln Wong, and her two sons, James and Jonathan, wanted to recognize her life through the naming of the Renison University College library in her honour.
Lusi had worked all her life as a librarian and so it seemed fitting to honour "the most important and influential person in my life" said Lincoln.
The Lusi Wong Library reflects the personality of the person for whom it is named: quiet, serene, welcoming, and warm.
Renison is grateful for this generous gift and for the many benefits the Lusi Wong Library will provide to the University of Waterloo and the Renison University College community.
