Professor Emeritus Nomination Form

The designation of Professor Emeritus of Renison University College shall be granted to those members of the regular faculty of the College who have served a minimum of 15 years automatically upon retirement, regardless of rank, and continue for life. The designation carries no duties or obligations on the part of the individual or on the part of Renison University College.

Criteria:

  1. The faculty member shall have served the College for a period of time, normally a minimum of 15 years.
  2. Nominations for persons with fewer than 15 years of service will be considered by the President, after which a recommendation on approval will be made to the Board of Governors.

Services and privileges, beyond those extended to all retired faculty members, are at the discretion of the appropriate Department Chair, the Vice-President Academic and Dean, and the President, to be determined on a case-by-case basis.
