Waterloo Climate Institute at the University of Waterloo received $1.2 million from Natural Resources Canada to support two transformative projects integrating climate change adaptation into professional degree programs and developing tools to build resilient supply chains. 

More than 100 University of Waterloo researchers spanning all six Faculties have been recognized over the past year for their achievements by being honoured with a prestigious award. The President’s Reception for Excellence in Research celebrated these Waterloo researchers for their impressive accomplishments.

Waterloo graduate Kiyoumars Zarshenas (PhD ’23) has been named a winner of the Science Exposed 2024 Jury Prize sponsored by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) with a striking image captured with a scanning electron microscope.
