From coordinating corporate visits with global firms to navigating train schedules across Germany, the Winter 2026 International Study Course (AFM334) trip to Germany was powered by School of Accounting and Finance students taking on different responsibilities behind the scenes.

While each team entered the trip with clearly defined roles, the experience quickly became one of collaboration, quick thinking and supporting one another through unexpected twists and turns.  

Having recently returned from the spring International Study Course trip to Hong Kong, the Meals and Logistics team reflects on their experience working behind the scenes to keep the trip running smoothly from coordinating travel plans, restaurants, meeting times and everything in between.

Our Singapore trip: The resume

Three SAF students — Diana, Leo, and Franco — served as the Marketing and Culture team for the International Study Course trip to Singapore this spring. From their first moments on the island, they were struck by how seamlessly Singapore blends innovation with tradition. In this blog, they share their impressions of the city and the highlights that made the experience unforgettable.

The Corporate Relations Team for the recent International Study Course trip to Hong Kong shares their strategy for connecting with professionals and how they remained positive throughout the process despite the rejections and unanswered messages.

These students, divided into three subteams — Marketing & Culture, Corporate Relations, and Meals & Logistics — have particular roles and responsibilities which ensure the class can become immersed in a new culture, meet with company executives from various industries, and gain insight into the world of global business operations.

The Meals & Logistics Team for SAF's upcoming International Study Course trip to South Korea has been hard at work researching destinations and organizing accommodations, transportation, and meals to create the perfect itinerary in order to get the most out of this unique opportunity. 

As the lucky students who recently travelled to Switzerland for the winter School of Accounting and Finance (SAF) 2024 International Study Course trip, we are reflecting on and sharing our once-in-a-lifetime experience.
