Who is the SAF Co-op Team?
Main responsibilities:
- Advises students on co-op planning related to SAF policies and SAF work/study sequences
- Coordinates learning opportunities related to co-op and career development starting with the Launch Your Career conference and the Co-op Ready conference

How can the SAF co-op team help you?
The SAF co-op team can help you navigate the various aspects of the Co-op and Career process, including supporting your decisions regarding...
- a return offer
- a pivot to a different professional area
- which courses or specializations to take in order to get to the career you want
- new job search strategies
- managing your work-study sequence
- what comes next
This team is required to support not just the student in front of them, but all students by upholding the policies and processes of SAF, Faculty of Arts and University of Waterloo. While the SAF co-op team is a great place to start, we are often not a one-stop shop. We work as part of a team to support your needs. If appropriate, you will be referred to an advisor or specialist from other areas on campus to get the best support.
