Join us for our 6th International Women's Day High Tea Social
Our virtual High Tea Social is an annual keystone event, celebrating International Women's Day with alumni and friends from around the world. Grab your favourite late morning drink, a comfy chair and join our panel of UWaterloo alumni who want to share and discuss the importance of gender equity and inclusivity.
The International Women’s Day 2026 theme, GiveToGain, emphasizes the power of reciprocity and support. It’s a call to encourage a mindset of generosity and collaboration. Support contributes to women's advancement helps create a more supportive and interconnected world. Giving is broad, and can include generosity through donations, knowledge, resources, infrastructure, visibility, advocacy, education, training, mentoring, or time.
This International Women's Day, step up, break down barriers, and take bold steps to create real change.
This event will be held earlier this year, Friday, March 6, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. ET over Zoom.

What #GiveToGain means to Meaghan:
"Philanthropy matters to me because it is one of the most direct ways we can turn our values into action. From sponsoring a child through Plan Canada as a teenager to serving as board chair for organizations like the Guelph Humane Society and Planned Parenthood, I’ve seen how volunteering and financial support expand access, protect rights, and create real, lasting impact. There are few things more meaningful than using what we have to help others thrive."
