How I get involved: I enjoy being involved in clubs, including the Pre-Dental club, MEDLIFE, and the Pre-Medical Society, which allows me to collaborate with like-minded peers in my field of interest. I also proctor exams, volunteer at various organizations, recreationally practice gymnastics, and am completing my senior honours research project (BIOL 499)!
Why I love my program
I love my program because the wide variety of courses sets you up for any science-related career path in mind, while fulfilling requirements for graduate schools. My favourite part is the lab courses, where you can put what you’ve learned in lecture to use in real-life scenarios!
Why University of Waterloo?
I chose the University of Waterloo because of the balance of academics with extracurriculars, and the exciting opportunities this school has to offer. The walkable campus, food options, and various study areas are definitely beneficial!
